Cody Chytyk began his academic career at the University of Saskatchewan where he studied biochemistry and biotechnology. Upon receiving his BSc. in 2007, he commenced graduate studies at the University of Saskatchewan in the biochemistry department. Here, Cody studied photosynthetic acclimation to low temperature and high CO2 in spring and winter wheat. He successfully completed his MSc. requirements in spring of 2010.
He has been an R&D coordinator with Western Ag Innovations since early 2010. Cody enjoys helping researchers with their PRS™-probe project design and aims to get them reliable data. He has a dual role in the company as he also coordinates the winter cereal field studies for Western Ag Seed Innovations.
Cody was raised on a mixed cattle/grain farm in central Saskatchewan. He is interested in development of agronomic practise and believes PRS™ probes are invaluable tools for affordable crop nutrition.
