COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH PROCESS

Contact an R&D co-ordinator today for a consultation about your research study.

Our PRS™ technology is used around the world. Find out where.

How does Western Ag provide excellent customer service?
  1. Initial consultation between R&D Co-ordinator and researcher.
  2. Research agreement filled out and signed by both parties.
  3. PRS™-probes, protocols, scrub brush, and additional information are sent to researcher.
  4. Researcher uses PRS™-probes in study (see protocol).
  5. Researcher cleans the PRS™-probes extremely well.
  6. PRS™-probes are returned to Western Ag Innovations for analyses (or in a lease agreement: analysed, regenerated and reused by the researcher throughout the lease period and then returned after the lease expires).
  7. Western Ag Innovations analyzes samples utilizing a proven QA/QC system that not only maintains the integrity of the samples, but also ensures the accuracy and precision of the data generated with the PRS™-probes.
  8. R&D Coordinator sends back the data to the researcher.
  9. Researcher writes report based on the PRS™-probe data (usually for the funding agency).
  10. Researcher submits a copy of the final report to the R&D Co-ordinator. Please note: it is not necessary to write a special report for us. We will accept copies of reports generated for other purposes (i.e., funding agencies, committee meetings, etc.).
  11. Depending on the novelty of the study, and pending permission from the researcher, we may showcase the PRS™-probe related data at our trade show booth at scientific meetings and in our Technical Updates.
  12. Western Ag Innovations appreciates and encourages feedback, comments, and questions from the researcher. We will use such feedback to enhance the quality of our customer service.

Note: Any questions, comments, or collaboration between the researcher and the R&D co-ordinator is encouraged throughout the entire research process (i.e., proposal writing to manuscript reviewing stage). R&D Co-ordinators are ready and willing to help out in any way they can.
