Why is the PRS™ a great fit for turfgrass research?
- PRS™-probes provide a biologically-meaningful measure of the supply rate of all nutrients to roots, especially diffusion-limited nutrients, such as NH4+, P, and K.
- PRS™-probes create minimal disturbance which should not interrupt play or turf maintenance, and is esthetically pleasing compared to collecting soil cores.
- PRS™-probes measure the supply rate of all plant nutrients simultaneously eliminating need for multiple chemical extractions, resulting in a tremendous cost savings.
